Now that I find myself in trouble with the law, am I to give up all hope of a future? I had been heading down this bad path for several months. I had been pulled over for a DUI previously and had appeared before the court on several other minor infractions with a DUI Attorney. The Police knew me by name. This time, however, was different. This time lives were put at risk, including my own. We were heading into Los Angeles, in southern California, when I swerved to miss a pot hole in the road. My swerve was an exaggerated one and I found myself off the side of the road. I will need to rely heavily on my attorney to come to my drunk driving defense, because I feel nothing but guilt for the injuries I was responsible in causing to my good friends. If left to my own defense, I would probably throw myself under the bus, but I am grateful for my DUI Attorney as he has instilled hope in myself and hope in my future, a future that will be conducted in a much different state of mind.
